Revolutionizing change management for a manufacturing

CHALLENGE & BACKGROUND:

A leading manufacturing company was having an outdated change management system of using excel files , sticky notes as they were not able to track audit trails and also hold people accountable of their activities performed which are related to change management. They approached us to help them transform their outdated change management system to a more efficient and user-friendly click-and-mortar model.

SOLUTION:

We interviewed respective stakeholders using our framework of questioning to analyze the current state of their business process flow, defined a target state process and ensured we got consensus from them and then implemented a robust engineering change management system using Jira to streamline their engineering change management procedure and provide the client with real-time data analytics to analyze the root cause of any issues that arose during the change request process. This allowed their engineering leaders to take appropriate corrective or preventive action and ultimately resolve the change requests in a timely manner.

RESULTS:

With our help, the client was able to improve their overall change management process, resulting in increased productivity, cost savings, and most importantly, customer satisfaction.
